Akbar from Indonesia was invited back to Nitta Seiun to talk about his home country’s cuisine during the lunchtime Seiun Café program. Students ate their lunches while listening to Akbar talk about the wide variety of foods found across Indonesia. His personal recommendation was Beef Rendang, a flavorful meat dish that is typically cooked for 12 hours! In 2016, Beef Rendang was selected as the number one dish in the world, so many students were excited to try it someday.
