Today, five students presented to the entire school about their study abroad experiences. One student studied English in Toronto, Canada, and four students went to our sister school, C.K. McClatchy High School, in Sacramento, California, USA.
The students presented on a range of topics. One had debated in English about SDGs. Another emphasized the importance of pronunciation when talking to English native speakers. One student was impressed with the diversity among the American high schools.
Each presenter also took time to answer questions from the audience. Many listeners were interested to know more. The presenters did well highlighting the similarities and differences between Japan and the respective countries they visited.
We highly encourage students to study abroad and think globally. Our study abroad agent works closely with students to make these valuable experiences a reality. Hopefully, the study abroad presentations will inspire more students to take on more global opportunities.
