Immersion classes give students the opportunity to use English in their other school subjects. This term, the junior high school students have been enjoying English immersion music classes with music teacher Miss Takahashi and native English speaker Mr. Ryan. They learn how to read music using English terms, such as “treble clef” and “quarter note,” and how to sing songs in English, such as “L-O-V-E,” “Let It Be,” and “Edelweiss.”
